Andaras Traveling Film Festival promotes an organisational model that takes into consider the environmental, social and economic impact of the event.
Through a series of practical measures, the festival is committed to reducing its environmental impact, promoting more sustainable transport, showcasing the local area and encouraging the public, guests and staff to adopt responsible behaviour.
Our commitment
The festival organisers are implementing sustainability-focused practices at every key stage of the Andaras Travelling Film Festival 2026: from transport to communication, from materials management to waste sorting, right through to collaboration with local organisations and raising awareness amongst the public and staff.
Sustainable mobility and shared transfers
Andaras encourages the public, staff and participants to prioritise public transport and low-impact transport options wherever possible. Transport for guests, jurors and professionals will be organised, where possible, via shared transfers, in order to reduce individual journeys and optimise the event’s logistics.
Printed materials and reusable media
Andaras reuses exhibition materials from previous editions and, where possible, avoids including any graphic references to the year, so that the materials can be reused in future editions as well.
Separate waste collection in the locations
During the Andaras events, separate waste collection will be in operation at the venues, in collaboration with the local councils involved. We would ask the public to use the collection points provided at the festival venues correctly.
Digital program and QR code
To reduce the production of printed materials, the Andaras catalogue will be available in digital format. The programme and key information will be accessible online and via QR codes at the festival venues.
Accommodation facilities, local products and the local supply chain
Andaras gives priority to accommodation close to the event venues, thereby reducing daily travel and supporting the local hospitality sector.
Andaras’s social experiences showcase local produce and the regional supply chain, in collaboration with Sapori in Movimento.
