The call for the third edition of “Andaras Traveling Film Festival"is now online.

The call for application for the third edition of “Andaras Traveling Film Festival – all the taste of travel”, that will be held in Fluminimaggiore and Buggerru from 20th to 25th July 2021, is online from today.

This year will be a year of important news, first of all the collaboration with Slow Food: a major international no-profit association committed to give the right value to food, in respect of those who produce, in harmony with the environment and ecosystems, thanks to the knowledge of which they are custodians of territories and local traditions.

For this special occasion, we added to the competition two more special categories, Narrative Short Food” and “Docu-Short Food”, aimed at fiction and non-fiction short films, dedicated to the subject of food.

There are still the categories dedicated to short films, fiction, non-fiction and experimental, with a novelty: from this year, there is also a specific section for animated short films.

Here are all the categories in competition:

1.“Super Shorts”

Short films both fiction or documentary, of a maximum duration of 180 seconds

2.“Docu-Shorts”

Non-fiction short films, of a maximum duration of 30 minutes;

3.“Narrative Shorts”

Dedicated to fiction short films, of a maximum duration of 20 minutes;

4.“Gazes from the World”

dedicated to experimental, fiction and documentary short films, not strictly connected with others categories, of a maximum duration of 15 minutes;

5.“Animation”

Animated short films, of a maximum duration of 15 minutes.SPECIAL SLOW FOOD CATEGORIES

6.“Narrative Short Food”Dedicated to fiction short films, food-themed, of a maximum duration of 20 minutes;

7.“Docu-Short Food”

Non-fiction short films, food-themed, of a maximum of 30 minutes.

The jury is composed of members appointed by the Festival management, chosen from national and international experts.

The works sent must have the theme “the trip” or “the world of food”, expressed in any of their many facets.

It will be possible to submit their own works through the online platform FilmFreeway.
